Impulse sealers use a heated nichrome wire to melt thermoplastic films (PE, PP, PVC) for a brief burst, then cool under pressure. Hand-held and pedal models handle bags up to 600mm wide. Ideal for low-volume bag sealing, retail repacking, and food prep. Sealing width: 2–5mm. Simple, low-cost, and nearly maintenance-free.
Continuous band sealers feed bags through heated rollers or bands on a conveyor for uninterrupted sealing. Best for high-volume bag sealing: snacks, coffee, chemicals, medical supplies. Speed: 0–12m/min depending on model. Available with vertical (standing pouches) or horizontal (flat bags) feeding, plus optional nitrogen flush and date coding.
Induction sealers use electromagnetic energy to bond an aluminum foil liner to the mouth of a bottle or jar, creating a tamper-evident, leak-proof, hermetic seal. Used on food jars, medicine bottles, cosmetic containers, and chemical bottles. Hand-held wands and automated inline systems are both available. Works with PE, PP, PET, and glass containers.
Vacuum sealers remove air from the package before sealing, extending shelf life and preventing oxidation. Chamber vacuum sealers evacuate a chamber containing the bag; nozzle-type sealers insert a probe into the bag. Applications: meat, cheese, coffee, electronics, and industrial parts. Chamber models handle liquids; nozzle models suit irregular shapes.
Cup sealers apply a pre-cut lid film to cups, trays, or bowls — common in yogurt, bubble tea, ready meals, and deli containers. Manual single-cup, semi-automatic, and fully automatic rotary models are available. Sealing temperature and dwell time are adjustable for different lid film materials (PP, PET, aluminum foil laminate).
Tube sealers close the open end of laminate, plastic, or aluminum tubes — used in cosmetics (creams, gels), pharmaceuticals (ointments), and food (condiments). Ultrasonic sealers fuse without external heat for clean, strong seals; hot-jaw sealers use heated crimping. Coding (date/lot) can be embossed or inkjet-printed during the seal.
Tray sealers bond a top film or lid to pre-filled trays — fresh meat, produce, ready meals, and bakery items. Semi-automatic single-tray and automatic inline models available. Options include modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) for extended shelf life and peelable/resealable lid films.
Standard lead times run 15–30 days for stock models and 30–60 days for custom builds. Sea freight takes 15–35 days depending on destination; most factories ship FOB Chinese ports and work with your freight forwarder.
