Labeling variants: which labeler fits your container?

Labeling machines split on one question before any throughput number matters: where does the label land? Around a round bottle, or on top of a flat object like a carton or pouch. The catalog carries a machine for each of those placements — and two different speeds of the round-bottle wrap. The tables below line them up with the figures each model's own parameter table states. Where a figure is not on record, the cell says so instead of guessing.

The figures describe the specific models listed on this site, under the source's stated conditions. They are reference points for shortlisting — the final configuration must be confirmed against your actual container, label and production line before purchase.

Placement → variant → stated figures

The variant wording follows each model's own catalog description. Start from your container's shape and the face that carries a label, then let the container range and speed columns narrow the field.

VariantPlacement and container problem (per catalog description)Container range (as stated)Speed (as stated)
ZS-TB801D
Round-bottle wrap labeling, tabletop scale
One label wrapped around a round bottle as it rotates on the machine — the catalog lists round bottles of Φ10-35 mm, at bench-scale throughput and a bench-scale footprint. Φ10–35 mm About 15–25 pcs/min, depending on product and label size
ZS-TB920
Servo high-speed round-bottle wrap labeling, inline scale
The same wrap placement moved to production speeds — a servo-driven inline machine with a ±1 mm stated accuracy and FDA-approved contact materials, sized for a full bottling line. Product size: customizable 300-400 BPM (18,000–24,000 BPH)
XL-T853
Top labeling for flat surfaces — boxes, pouches, cartons
A label pressed onto the top face of a flat object rather than around a bottle — the catalog lists objects 6-300 mm high and 6-120 mm wide, which covers cartons, pouches and boxed goods. height: 6mm-300mm, width: 6mm-120mm 40-120pcs/min

How to read the speed column: the three figures are not like-for-like. The TB801D states about 15-25 pcs/min and the XL-T853 40-120 pcs/min as bench- and light-industrial throughput, while the TB920 states 300-400 bottles per minute (18,000-24,000 BPH) as a servo inline machine. An order of magnitude separates the bench machines from the inline one, so the placement decides the machine type and the throughput decides which tier of it.

One placement this page does not tabulate: two-sided (front-and-back) labeling of square or flat-sided bottles. None of the three gate-passed models above applies labels to two faces of a container, so if that is your container, say so in the inquiry — quoting the bottle dimensions and the two label sizes — rather than shortlisting from this table.

ModelLabel size (as stated)Labeling accuracy (as stated)Power / supply (as stated)List price (as stated)
ZS-TB801D Confirm via inquiry Confirm via inquiry 110 / 220 V, 50–60 Hz $3,399
ZS-TB920 Length 20-120 mm / Width (backing paper width): 20-140 mm ±1 mm (excluding product & label errors) 4kW, 380V, 50/60Hz $57,999
XL-T853 Confirm via inquiry Confirm via inquiry 220V/50Hz $6,840

The accuracy column is where the on-record record is thinnest: of the three models on this page only the TB920 states a figure (±1 mm, excluding product and label errors), so the other two cells say to confirm via inquiry rather than borrow a number from a different machine. Label size matters the other way round — the TB920 publishes its label window (20-120 mm long by 20-140 mm backing-paper width), while for the TB801D and XL-T853 the practical label window follows from the container range instead.

Where the trade-offs are written up

The reasoning behind the labeling decision lives in the knowledge base:

Shortlisting to configuration

Container samples, label die-cut drawings, required placement accuracy and the upstream filler or capper the labeler must synchronize with all move the answer. Send those with the inquiry and the quotation comes back against your actual configuration — or return to the comparison hub to narrow by task and capacity first.
